Easter Bunny Wreath
It's been a while since I have shared a DIY and so I figure why not do an easy Easter Bunny Wreath for you guys. I have seen these all over Pinterest the past few yeas and never really had the time to actually make one. If you ask me I really wanted to just purchase one because sometimes not all DIY's come out looking great. I have had my share of disaster DIY's trust me. What really got me inspired was that I was cleaning up this catch all area in my kitchen and found a bag from the Dollar Tree of Christmas garland that I apparently miss placed. So I pulled out my crafting supplies I had and made me an Easter Bunny Wreath. It literally took me 15-20 min to make.
What You Need
Garland of your choice
Glue Gun
Jute or Crafting Wire
Scissors
Ribbon
Easter Bunny Wreath
Cut your garland at your desire length. You want to make to circles so make sure you don't cut them to big or to small. I eyed balled this and didn't measure.
After cutting your two pieces you want to make each one into a circle and tie a small piece of jute to secure the ends.
Once your done making your circles you then want to hot glue the two circles together. If you need to trim down the garland in the area you will put the glue on do so before gluing together. Make sure to put a good amount of glue and place the two pieces together Hold firmly for about a minute or until its dry.
Now that the circles are secure and dried your going to then cut two smaller pieces of garland to make the bunny ears. Again I didn't measure I just eye balled it and made sure not to make them to small or to big.
You are going to then fold them in half in to bunny shape ears and tie the ends in jute. Make sure to cute the ends of the jute so nothing is hanging or visible.
You can now trim some of the garland on the top circle of the bunny so its easier for the ears to stay glued on. You will then put a good amount of glue and hold firmly for about a minute or until dry. You want to make sure the glue is completely dry so everything is nicely secure.
Once you have your ears you can then decorate your Easter Bunny Wreath with either flowers, ribbon, or you can leave it plain. Its all up to you.
I added a piece of ribbon that I had on hand that was also bought from the Dollar Tree a while back.
I'm sure you can find similar things at the Dollar Tree or things you may have at home that you purchased for another project and never got a round to doing. This was a simple DIY and anyone can do it trust me.
Happy Crafting!!!!
