Crayola Factory Fun

On Presidents Day we decided to head on over to the Crayola Factory in PA. We figured we would go early morning and make it a day since there was no school. Well not sure what I was thinking because that place was so packed. The lines to get in were long but moving. It was a little unorganized in the sense that people with tickets were in one line and people that needed a ticket were in another line but then had to go right back in the line with the people who had tickets.
Lets just say I witnessed my first ever grown adult having a temper tantrum like a toddler because she had to go right back into that long line. Stomping her feet and yelling. I couldn't believe it and couldn't help but laugh. It's expected for places like this to be crowded when schools out or on a holiday. You just have to be a little patient and make the best of it.

|What We Had The Most Fun With|

Water Works

My boys love anything with water so they really enjoyed the Water Works section.  Water Works is an 85-foot long water table. The kids pushed their boots on through Crayonopolis. I have to say this section was very organized. From the start of the line to the very end. They had a staff memeber keeping the lines moving at a good pace. They also have a section to wash and dry your hands after playing with the boats in the water which is great. I wish they would add some smocks to the attraction. My little guy couldn't reach so I  had to hold him over but because there's water everywhere his shirt was all wet. It maybe something they should think about adding.

Art Alive

We definitely spend a good amount of time in this section. drawing on the tablets and then sending our drawings to the big screen was so much fun. The boys would send their master piece and then run to go find it on the wall.

Melt & Mold

The boys got to make their very own car crayons. The process was super cool. They each picked a color crayon and put it into the machine. The crayon then melted and starting dripping into a car mold. Once it was filled it then cooled in a few minutes and then it was ready for you to take out the mold.

Color Magic

Another fun and interactive attraction. We each choose a coloring page to color and then we took them to the computers and scanned our images onto the computer. We then watched our coloring pages come to life. It was super cool. You were able to create a background for your character and even play interactive games with it. This one was a personal favorite of mine.

All in all we had a great time. We were able to enjoy most of the attractions but some where out of the question with the amount of people in line. The kids get antsy and decide after standing in a long line that they no longer want to do it. If  you haven't been to the Crayola Factory I would totally recommend for you to go check it out.  Just try to take the time and date into consideration as it gets super packed. Just be patient and have fun!

Thank You Crayola Factory for having us we had a Blast!
