Last Minute Spring Break Trip Ideas
Spring Break literally crept up on me. I can not believe that it is a week from today and I barley had anything planned. We went back and fourth on what we could do and pretty much forgot to book anything until a few days ago. Nothing like a last minute booking right!?! I am pretty sure that I am not the only one that is late to the party in booking a trip for Spring Break. So I decided why not share some of our favorite places to visit here on the East Coast in a post.
Pennsylvania
Cartoon Network Hotel is located in Lancaster, PA. If your kids love Cartoon Network then they will love visiting the theme filled hotel. We actually visited last Spring Break and the boys loved it. You can read about our stay HERE and the things that outside of the hotel.
Hershey Park is located in Hershey, PA. If you never visited Hershey Park then you need to put it on your list to visit sometime this year. Hershey has so many things to do other then the theme park. The town is really cute. You can visit the Hershey Story Museum and the Hershey Gardens which anyone at any age will love. You can check out all the details on where we stood and what we did when we visited HERE.
Kartrite Resort & Indoor Water Park is probably one of our most favorite places to visit. We have visited twice and already planning a third trip. We absolutely love it for many reason. The rooms are very modern and spacious. They have restaurants that won’t disappoint, they have daily activities, and lets not forget the water park. You can check out one of my older post HERE for more details.
Washington, DC
Washington, DC is always a great idea. There are so many things to see and do in Washington. A lot of the museums are free along with the National Zoo. We went a few years back for the weekend and could not fit everything in but we had a great time and can not wait to go back. You can find all the details from where we stayed, restaurants, and all the activities we did HERE.
I hope that this post was helpful in planning some last minute trips. For those that don’t live within the area I hope that this post at least gave you some inspiration to plan something near you. Sometimes we just need a little inspiration to get things done and plan. Follow me over on Instagram to keep up with us on our Spring Break adventures this week.
Happy Spring Break!
As always Thank You for your Love & Support.
