No School Means Fun At Liberty Science Center + Giveaway
Can you guys believe we are already in November? The kids were on Fall Recess last week and so that meant that I needed to find things for us to do. Keeping the kids busy during the colder months can sometimes be challenging as the weather can be unpredictable like it has been for the past few weeks now. So when planning out our activities for the week I decided to add Liberty Science Center to our list and I am glad I did. If your not from the NJ/NY area then you may not be familiar with Liberty Science Center. LSC is an interactive science museum and learning center that lets kids be hands on with the exhibitions and its perfect for all ages. Currently they have the Dinosaur Train Traveling exhibit and the Angry Birds Universe exhibition along with their main attractions.
Our first stop was The Dinosaur Train exhibit. The Dinosaur Train exhibit is based on the TV series. If your little loves this series or even just loves trains and dinosaurs then they will love everything about this exhibit. Your little explorers can wear conductor hats and hop right in to a life size train from the series. There is fossil digging, interactive learning, drawing your very own dinosaurs and more. Our next stop was the Angry Birds Universe exhibition. My oldest was super excited for this exhibition and I have to say we actually really loved it. The boys did some rock climbing, built some cars and raced each other to see who's car went the fastest. The boys also got to make there own mini cartoon movie using magnets that looked like the Angry Birds characters. They thought this was so cool and we were able to send the mini movie to my email. The next thing that the boys absolutely loved was the life size Angry Bird sling shot. We had so much fun doing this.

Some other fun things that you can see at the LSC are the Planetarium, Films & Shows, Animals and more. (Click Here for more exibitions!) They are constantly changing their exhibitions so you will want to stay up to date with all the new things coming to the Liberty Science Center so you can plan accordingly. It is definitely a place where your kids will not only have fun but learn some really cool things.
