LEGOLAND Resort is Coming to New York

Last week I had the pleasure in attending the LEGOLAND New York Resort Press Event held at the World Trade Center in the Oculus Building in New York City. The event was to talk about the new amusement park & hotel coming to Goshen, NY in Spring 2020. As you can imagine my kids are beyond excited and just can't want till the park opens up next year. If you have been following me you already know that my boys are obsess with anything LEGOS and we have been to the Discovery Centers here in PA & NY along with visiting this past summer LEGOLAND FL.

LEGOLAND New York Resort will be the ultimate LEGO theme park and hotel destination making it the largest LEGOLAND ever built. It will have more then 50 interactive rides, shows, & attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Although the theme park is designed for kids ages 2-12 all guests are welcome, as most of the rides & attractions are meant for the entire family to enjoy together. Addition to the theme park there will also be be a LEGOLAND Hotel with 250 rooms all designed in a LEGO theme and will be just steps away from the theme park. The hotel will also have a pool making it great for a weekend getaway with the kids.

During the Press Event they announced an exclusive opportunity with its "First to Play Pass", introduced the winners of its kid reporter search and also unveiled a LEGO version of the Oculus building where the event was held.

Oculus Building Model

The Oculus model was created with more then 40,000 LEGO bricks & three Feet high. It took the Master Model Builders about 555 hours to design and build the model. This is the first LEGO model that was announced to be installed in the new theme park as part of the Miniland, which is a massive panorama of interactive and animated LEGO built cities from across the country.

First to Play Pass

The First to Play pass is an unlimited edition pass which comes with the once in a lifetime opportunity. With this pass you will be able to experience the LEGOLAND New York Resort before it officially opens to the public. Pass holders will have access to a special pre-opening Preview Day event in advance of the Resort's Grand Opening in Spring 2020. Additional benefits to the First to Play Pass include:

12 Months admission to LEGOLAND New York Resort

A commemorative First to Play Pass Card & Exclusive Seasonal Offers only for Pass Members

Kid Reporters

The 5 lucky kids that were chosen out of the 450 entrants will be the newest and youngest journalist from the ages of 6-11. They will be covering all the updates on the construction of the theme park and LEGOLAND Hotel from a kids perspective. The new kid reporters will be joining 10 year old Waverly Winchester, Kiditor in Chief of the website Kids' News NYC, on the team. So keep a look out for all their updates.

We honestly can not wait till the new theme park and resort is open. It's going to be great for those families who have never been able to experience any of the other LEGOLAND Resorts. I will also be updating you all as I get more information through out the year.

Are your kids as excited as mine for the new LEGOLAND New York?
