|Fall Recess Fun|

This past week school was out on Fall Recess. I knew I wanted to do something with the kids but it had to be in doors because of the weather. The temps had been dropping and it has been raining a lot so anything that we can do indoors is what was best. So with that being said we visited the kids favorite places. Both places were about an 1hr and 15 min away which isn't to bad.

Our First stop was LEGOLAND Discovery Center in PA. If  you have been following me for a while you will know that my kids are obsess with anything and everything LEGOS. We have visited this particular Discovery Center a few times for different events so this time it was nice to just go on our own and enjoy some of the things we didn't get to do in our previous visits.

The kids really loved the workshop they had. Each child was given a bag of the parts needed for the workshop and then followed the instructions from the Master Builder. While giving the kids the instructions to build he would also ask the questions in between of what they thought each piece was needed for. The kids also love the 4D Movie they have and today we saw one we haven't seen. They actually have a few different ones at different times which is cool. And I can't forget their favorite ride the Imagination Express which we rode twice. My kids over all have a great time everytime we have visited. If you haven't been to a LEGOLAND Discovery Center I highly recommend you visit one.

Our Second stop was Sahara Sam's Oasis here in NJ. We have been here before as well and have had a great time. Sahara Sam's is an Indoor Water Park. It is open all year round and during the summer they also have an outdoor pool to enjoy. When I told the kids that I was going to be taking them to Sahara Sams they were so excited. I mean who wouldn't want to visit an indoor water park when the temps are in the 40's outside.

There were not to many people when we went which made the visit even more enjoyable. The only down fall for this last visit was that in some of the areas the water was freezing to the point that it felt like we were outside in the 40 degree weather. We stood in the areas with the warmer water and then we decided to change and make our way to the arcade. The kids always love arcades so we spent some time in there and then made our way home. Over all the kids had a great time and that's all that matters to us. We always make the best of any situation no matter what.

Both of these places have some fun Holiday events so definitely check them out!! Have you visited any of these indoor parks or maybe something similar in your areas?
