Celebrating LEGOLAND Discovery Center's 1st Birthday in PA

Last week we were invited to help

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia

celebrate their 1st Birthday. We are such big fans of Legos so when we received the invitation we were super excited to take the trip to PA and help them celebrate. Not only were they celebrating their 1st Birthday but they were also revealing their New Arctic Adventure Exhibit as well. We were super excited for all the fun we were going to embark at LEGOLAND.

There were a good amount of kids attending the event and patiently waiting on the event to start. Not only was the media there videoing and photographing all the fun that was about to go down but there was also some special guest making an appearance. Emmet, Wyldstyle, & Bertie stole the show when they came out. Everyone including myself wanted a picture with them. Did I mention there was also cake!!! Yes there were some yummy cupcakes from Whole Foods because whats a party without cake. With all the fun we were having at the party it was now time to explore and check out all there was to offer. Here are some of our favorites!

|Imagination Express|

All Aboard the Imagination Express! We had so much fun on this interactive train ride that we rode it twice. Popping the bubbles with our magic star wands to opening treasure chest under the sea to outer space & space ships. It was so much fun. Not sure who enjoyed it more the adults or the kids. Definitely a must do.

|4D Cinema|

The 4D Cinema was cute. The entrance was set up just like a movie theater. They had different show times with different movies playing on the board so it was easy to know what times the shows started. We saw The Legends of Chima. The boys loved the movie and all the effects from wind, smoke and rain mist.  They actually wanted to get back in line for the next showing.

|Build Challenge Circle|

My oldest loves to sit and build Legos. So sitting here and building away was like his happy place. While he was enjoying some building time with his Titi (Aunt) I took my little guy to the build and race slide. My youngest loved the fact that you can build a car and then slide it down its own slide while you slide along side it. He spent a good amount of time going up and down the slide with his own Lego car creation.

We also walked through Miniland which is super cool. The Legos are built to replicate landmarks that we all recognize. It truly is an amazing display of art and creativity. My boys absolutely loved chasing the car that was driving through the streets of Philadelphia.

|Arctic Adventure|

The New Arctic Adventure has a digital interactive build table, themed big build activities and photo ops with the Lego Polar Bear. Its very cool and we can't wait to go back to play and see how it all works. The boys played for a few minutes in this area but it was a little overwhelming with all the excitement that they really didn't get to enjoy it to its full potential.

We had so much fun that I can go on and on about every attraction, The only things we didn't get too really spend enough time at or attend was the Arctic Adventure and the Lego Creative Workshop. We can't wait to go back so we can explore those a little more and enjoy what it has to offer.

If you haven't visited a

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

& you have a Lego fanatic then I suggest you check one out. It's perfect for ages 3+ to really enjoy all it has to offer.

Both my boys loved the

LegoLand Discovery Center

and are not just requesting to go back but they are now requesting to visit

LEGOLAND Florida Resort

as well.  I'll have to start saving now because that's all they have been talking about for the last week.

Because we also received an extra set of 4 tickets I wanted to pay it forward and thought a giveaway was the best way. The tickets are for the
