Fast & Furious 6 Birthday!
Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend! Last weekend we celebrated our oldest son Jaycob's 6th Birthday. I seriously do not know where the time has gone. So when asking Jaycob what type of party he wanted this year for his birthday he quickly answered a Fast & Furious Birthday. He is obsessed with cars and he has seen some of the movies and was obsessed with the cars in the movies
. So naturally I went to Pinterest for inspiration. Although their are tons of pins for Car Theme Parties nothing really stood out to me. So after talking to my good friend Kim she gave me some inspiration and then I was able to regroup and re search Pinterest for just a few details to make the party a Fast & Furious hit.
I immediately booked his party at the Kiddie Race Track in Keansburg Amusment Park in Keansburg, NJ. The party packages were not pricey in my opinion. I then made my own DIY invitations, thank you tags, cupcake stand, cupcake picks, T shirts etc. I was lucky enough to find Fast & Furious legos at Five Below to use as my favors. I have to say that I was impress that although it was not a lot of decor it looked great and the kids had an amazing time racing in the kiddie go carts.
Jaycob said it was such a cool and fun party. I was so happy to have been able to pull it off for him in the best way I could. Still cant believe my baby is now 6. Thank you to our family and friends who were able to celebrate with him.
