Spring Cleaning with a Simple DIY!
Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!!! It still has been some what cold and we just can't wait for warmer Spring weather. Since we stood home on Saturday I decided to spring clean my closet and the kids closet.
So happy I was able to do this much needed task. I was able to clear out the stuff that no longer fits and put all the new spring stuff in. I mean the bags have only been sitting near the closet doors for 3 weeks. Lol I'm definitely a shopaholic when it comes to my kids. I can't help it when I find amazing deals along with coupons to my favorite stores.

Along with the spring cleaning I also decided to spruce up my sons under bed storage. I'm obsessed with anything that has chalkboard signs. Lol I can't help it. I refuse to spend crazy money on storage baskets or bins with them so I did my own DIY on his storage containers and my little guys baskets.
The clear storage bins I found in Target no more then $8 and they have wheels which make it so much easier for him to roll in and out. I used chalkboard adhesive paper from Micheal's but you can also find it at Walmart. I also bought this basket for $12 at HomeGoods. I used a piece of card board which you you can cut to your your desire size and wrapped it in the chalk board paper. I punched holes in the corner and used a rope tie to anchor it down. I did not use chalk for the writing. I actually found a white chalk marker in the dollar spot in Target and it worked great. This project was so inexpensive and it is exactly what I wanted but half the price.
Hope this will inspire you all!! What kind of DIY's have you been doing? Leave me a comment I'd love to hear what your all doing.
